Transforming Genesee Properties Since 2005

This area is the heart of the southern Palouse, characterized by incredibly fertile but heavy soils that retain moisture long into the spring in Genesee. Site prep in this part of Latah County requires a deep understanding of sub-surface drainage to keep foundations dry in the rolling prairie landscape where water tends to sit in the draws. We often install extensive French drain systems and curtain drains in Genesee before we even pour a footing, ensuring that the heavy soil doesn't exert excessive hydrostatic pressure on the basement walls.
